Hello! Thank you for your interest in Fable!
Here are a few tidbits to know before you apply:

player cap: 35/50

✿ Fable's application system is constantly open! This means that there is no set period for applications to come in. Applications can be submitted at any time and are reviewed by mods on Saturday & Sunday.

✿ You do not need a reserve to apply, but you must have an invite. Players in the game can invite 2 people a month! We ask that the person who invites someone into the game replies to their application comment in order to confirm said invite.

✿ We do not accept doubles of characters, nor do we accept app challenges.

✿ Please ensure that your prospective character isn't taken before you apply!

✿ player information
Name: Your name
Invited by: Name the person who invited you
Other characters: Do you have any existing characters in the game? Please list them.

Are you over 18? It is mandatory that our players are over 18.
✿ character information
Name: Your character's name
Age: Your character's age
Species: Your character's species
Canon: The canon your character is from
Canon point: The point in canon you are applying them from
CRAU: Are they carrying over the memories and experiences from another game? If not, please feel free to delete this section. If yes, please elaborate.

Abilities: A run-down on your character's abilities! Here is something to keep in mind due to the setting of Fable: As the realm is inhabited by fairytale creatures, the Fae NPCs will show interest and friendliness to those who are fully or partially mythological/fae in any way. We also don't nuke powers, so your character will arrive exactly as they are when the Fae take part of them away while they sleep.
History: Just a Wiki link is ok!
Personality: Give us a quick summary of what your character is like! This section should be around 150-200 words.
Arrival item: Characters will be allowed one item to arrive with them when they join the game! This can be a weapon, sentimental item, stuffed animal, or anything else you think they would never be seen without. The Fae will have cast a spell to ensure that any item a new arrival desires comes with them in order to provide them a little bit of comfort from home. Isn't that nice? Sadly, this only applies to tangible things and won't apply to animals, pets or companion creatures like Pokémon.

Game plans: What’s a rough idea of what your character will get up to in Fable? Keep this section brief, if you like!
Fruit trees: Choose from the game's fruit selection of Apple, Orange, Banana, Pear, Blueberry and Peach.
Any final thoughts? Just optional. Any further thoughts you would like to share. Post a meme if you like, even!

✿ character information
Name: Arthur Granvelle
Age: 17
Species: Wizard………
Canon: Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku
Canon point: Main Story 2.11

Abilities: •Magic - The big one, obviously, as being a wizard entirely dictates who Arthur is. Magic in this series is… incredibly vague, with only two things being complete impossibilities - returning the dead as they were when alive, and changing time. Magic covers the gamut from transformation, illusions, elemental manipulation, healing, protection, controlling others, animating puppets or corpses… Essentially, anything is possible and there’s been no hard limits besides personal ones. Arthur is young, but incredibly powerful for his age, but there’s no real… answer as to what he is exactly capable of. He excels at combat oriented magic thanks to his training in the North, but like all Central wizards he can do just a bit of everything - including flying on a broom!

•Magical Resilience - Wizards are much sturdier than humans, able to walk off injuries that would cripple or outright kill a human. They’re also more resistant to poison, as they can combat it with magic. They also have much longer lifespans than humans, as wizards will eventually stop aging and then continue to live for centuries or millennia more.

•General Fantasy Prince Things - Arthur has received training with swords, horseback riding, political schmoozing. All the necessary things for survival.
History: cries in bad wikis

Arthur is the crown prince of Central Country, the first in line to the throne despite the wishes and political maneuvering of his uncle. As a young child, it became apparent that Arthur was not born human - he was a wizard, and rumors began to circulate through the court. His mother had one of her trusted servants take her child to a cold, dangerous mountain in the Northern Country, leaving the child to die from any of the multitudes of dangers in the North.

The half-dead child was discovered by the wizard Oz, who could tell that the abandoned prince had incredible magic potential for his age, and could very well grow into being a very powerful wizard. Instead of killing the child and taking his mana stone, he decided to raise Arthur into that powerful wizard he could become. Arthur spent the next nine years under Oz’s tutelage, learning as much as he could…

Then his father, who had quietly called off the searches for Arthur long, long ago fell ill and wished to have his son return. The kingdom approached Oz, and Arthur returned to Central. There he met and befriended the Knight Captain, Cain Knightley, who was the only person who showed him any kindness. It was public knowledge, now, that Arthur was a wizard - and a wizard who studied under the Demon King - which meant he was treated with fear and contempt. Cain was the only exception - but Cain was also hiding the fact he was a wizard, up until a confrontation with the Northern wizard Owen. Cain was stripped of his position, though he still pledged his loyalty to Arthur.

Shortly after Cain’s dismissal from the knights, he was chosen as a Sage’s wizard - the 20 witches and wizards who would protect their world from the Great Calamity as it attacked every year. The Sage was a salaryman from Japan, and he and Arthur became friends, Arthur even trying to find ways for the man to return to his home. In the next fight with the Calamity, the Sage disappeared - and ten of the chosen died. A new Sage, Akira Maki, was called to the world and they would summon more wizards to replace the fallen.

Arthur would be one of their chosen - meaning the prophecy that he would die in the fight against the Great Calamity was becoming more and more real.
Personality: In some ways, Arthur is very much the fairy tale prince you see in stories. He’s kind, generous, and treats everyone and everything around him with respect regardless of circumstances. The thing he wants most in life is to create a world where wizards and humans can coexist peacefully, with understanding and support between the two. He’s more than a bit gullible and naive, being incredibly trusting and forgiving despite being mature and intelligent enough to run a country. Any cruelty shown to him will be forgiven - he holds no ill will towards his mother despite her trying to kill him, and even hopes she will some day speak to him again so they can be family again. He’s reckless and works himself to the bone, feeling like he doesn’t have much time to accomplish his lofty goals - and he also struggles with insecurities rooted in abandonment. He doesn’t see himself as particularly important to those he cares for, and wonders where exactly he stands with them. He is also quick to rebuff any compliments, instead pointing to those who he sees as truly deserving of praise.

He’s a kind-hearted sort who thinks lowly of himself, really.
Arrival item: An old grimoire containing many, many spells gifted to him by Oz as part of his lessons. Arthur uses it as a catalyst for magic.
✿ life in fable
Game plans: To have a peaceful, quiet life for a moment! Arthur’s life has been chaotic and filled with a lot of pain, even as he does his best to push forward. He feels like he has limited time to live, so having the ability to not think about all of his responsibilities and duties and be free and happy for once would be nice.
Fruit trees: Orange
